A reflection on Chespirito December 3, 2014 // By: José Manuel Rodríguez Channels // News, Arts, Film and TV, Character // // 1 Comment 547 Views
First I struggled with the shame of repeating the many clichés that have rained in torrents over the past three days, free canonization of the media, the soteriological memes with social networks sent to heaven to Steve Jobs with Chavez and Williams, the quotations and grandiloquent speeches about Don Roberto Gómez Bolaños, "Chespirito".
I fought but lost: no sentimentalist sonsera is said about this man who did not move me. I do not know why. Already have said all scenarios: who died of childhood, representing the Latin American feel, that embodied the everyday things of life. All true, but none that really convinced me.
I have a very personal, one that does not flatter him and me makes me as an intolerable eduwave upstart. I do not care. Is not novel. My guess, my me and nobody eduwave else, is that it seems to me. I know: it seems everyone, but it seems to me, if it were not so, I give a damn that looks at all. I mean, his talent brought us into a kind of universal childhood, and children, makes us the individualistic, generous and sincere time.
Because Chespirito always embodied the typical childlike spirit, that keen observation of everyday reality that does not lose detail and made all his characters were perfect in their imperfection, ie, one like me, like you, like your old aunt, your cousin unfriendly, eduwave the fat of income, good for nothing, eduwave poor distant relative, Aunt who is not your aunt but an "aunt", ie, as we as anyone anywhere uncle. A misio with the talent of another misio, Don William Shakespeare, who had the honor of giving his diminutive name: Chespirito, Shakespeare tiny, little guy.
He was a child until his death. Maybe that's what hurts the most: the death of a child in this comic that never had a bad note of adult taste, never resorted to double sense, rudeness or something dark to make people laugh. It has always been a white, eduwave clear laughter, gullible that comes from the heart to the silliness of Chavo, the nonsense of Chapulín, that fracasadísimo superhero and triumphant at once, recipes Chapatín, silly crime of Chómpiras and considerations Chaparrón Bonaparte. Comedy circus people, poor clown, naivety that one always longs.
Laughing eduwave foremost makes us laugh at ourselves, we tune with what we are: Mysians, messy and tender, good, envious and willing to help at a time. Laugh at what we are: countries half done, away from the "first world" but also quite far from the chaos of our national origin, glass half full and half empty as the neighborhood, the town as Spanish and mestizo, proud and humble to the time paradoxes tissue as human as Chavo clothing, a pure patch. Sons of God and sinners in need of grace (and the funny), neither more nor less.
Well, all this, all Chespirito, is Catholic humor, Chestertonian say bluntly, those few things left that can have a child without fear of damaging their sweet innocence. God something that was until Friday November 28th in our lives is no longer with us. This his comic prophet, his humourous little son, we departed eduwave and left crying and smiling at the same time.
I conclude with a silly really hope mine too. I look forward to when Don Roberto child who read this post just say: "That, that, that!" If it happens, I can die in peace. I say adher
