The conference runs through the history and philosophy of education Terrades multiplication Abdon, Pallach Joseph and Joan Manuel del Pozo. Three characters from three different periods, but over the 175 years of the Institute all have had a very direct link: Terrades Abdon as mayor; Pallach as Josep Joan Manuel del Pozo student and as a teacher.
In addition to its relationship with the center, all three share values from the left, from utopian socialism to social democracy, including, notably, the free education as a key tool in training of young people as citizens.
